    Default A/C Belt

    Hey ALL88 see the following for tightening the A/C belt.

    If the belt is glazed up you may want to just replace it since once they are glazed they tend to continue to squeal even if you tighten it up more. OEM belts tend to work better than VatoZone belts.

    That's funny, my PS belt tensioner looks exactly like that.
    What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
    My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.

    Thanks for the info POS. But when I got home to check on the A/C belt, I found that the belt for the alternator/waterpump was missing "chunks of teeth inside the belt." How detailed is the removal of that belt? Any info would be appreciated.

    Sharp Knife... I love this board!! The problem is that I need some info on putting it back together. any articles available?

    Wonder if you have an alternator or water pump issue, from what I recall the last owner of that car recently put in all new OEM belts......

    The guy I got them from on Ebay, said that had only been used for a little while and were authentic JDM parts!
