Great looking NSX
Did they take that thing around the block and then not want it any more?Originally Posted by POS Racing

Perhaps it's because I grew up in a Corvette household, but they never did affect me like some of the exotics I grew up with. Yes, I spent 2 years of my adolescents dreaming of one day owning a black 1984 Corvette convertible, but that dream faded with time. The dreams of a Ferrari 308 from the same time never faded, and it wasn't long after that an NSX joined the dream stable.Originally Posted by POS Racing
Y'know, the C6 Corvettes are definitely a step above the C5s in terms of interior materials, but the seat covers in this one still look like Pep Boys Specials:Originally Posted by blackzx3_13

Well, you can add me to the "will own an NSX someday" list. And this is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. It could probably be had for a few grand less, which would be a fair price for it.
Too bad I can't afford it today...
It's all taste anyway. Some like 'em, some don't.

True but a Z06 would trounce an NSX, actually a base model Vette may not have too much dificulty with the current NSX either.Originally Posted by Titus
I too am from a Vette house heck I even had one of my own for 18 years. :afro:
My thought exactly... I am sure that when I am ready for one in a few years, there will be nothing in the area that fits the bill like this one does.Originally Posted by ccage

What about a nice 928! Have seen a couple of them going cheap!
And I had a friend with a dump of an old Roadrunner that'd trash the Vette in a straight line. Maybe you're interested in it? Too bad you had to push it backwards as it didn't have reverse...Originally Posted by POS Racing
Exactly. Like I said, it's all taste. And they're right -- performance isn't everything. Hell, these days even mid-level sedans are beginning to offer more performance than you can safely take advantage of on the street. It's incredible. Your grandma could drive an STS-V -- with performance almost identical to your stock C6. Wow. Strange (good) times.Originally Posted by POS Racing
Though I've respected their performance, I've never really drooled over the Z06 until the latest incarnation. It looks like they've finally got it right (in my book), but at the price it's not anything I'll be owning soon. Nor a new NSX as I'd prefer to put together my own '91 or '92 anyway.
One thing we can all agree on: May we all one day own our dream cars.
Amen.

The new Vette will also turn, it's actully quite a decent little package these days!Originally Posted by ccage
