I'm glad you finally sold it. The cash helps, but I understand the attachment to a project.
Anyone ever get depressed when you sell your project car off and just see it push off after the deal is done?
I am sorta down from it, but the sale of my project gave me $480 in cash to pay bills and etc...
Or should I be an idiot and just be glad I have cash?

How can you have a project car when you don't even have money to pay your bills?![]()

If it makes you feel better you probably made even more money in the long run. Not only did you get some imediate cash but also saved unknown $$$ since you don't have to put it into the project car.
I know losing cars we love stinks but maybe you can get another project car when your situation is different.
I still miss my first car. A 1974 Capri (Ford of Germany made GT)
Similar to this...
I hope to get a 73 model someday. (metal bumpers instead of the urethane ones)
LOL, originally, I had bought the car back when I had plenty of cash. As ironic as life is, I had lost my previous job 2 weeks after I bought the car. I had been trying to pawn it off the minute I lost my job on various forums but with no luck on solid buyers from forums and an awful lot of kids [ages 16 - 18] trying to pay me in counterfeit hundred dollar bills. Trust me, I am glad my friend had been lusting over my project for AGES. After some sleep, I am much happier that my project sold 'cause bills need to be gone anyways to give me extra cash to save up and etc.Originally Posted by riverracer

I'm sure you'll be able to get another project care somewhere down the road. The best of luck to you...![]()

Fake bills?
I would've set those scumbags up for getting busted. They deserve it.

^ Great movie, by the way. I pity anyone who has not seen it.
