    Default A new Gig

I'm selling my business to a competitor for an ample amount of I'm such a happy guy right now . I've also picked up a job at a little software company doing premier network support. The there is really good as well . Who knows, if things keep going in the same direction, I might have to start shopping for another car. I'll keep the Miata for tracking, but I'm thinking I'd really like to get an M3! I've had my eye on those for sooooo long. But of course not until the wife gets a new house

    Hey congrats on selling it!

Maybe you should make a business of starting & selling off businesses

Congrats on everything. M3s are fantastic cars. Are you thinking about an E36 or an E46?

Thanks guys. While I've wanted an M3 for a long time I haven't compared the E36 vs E46 and I'm not sure what the differances are. But It's still a little ways off, as the wife wants a bigger house, and I'm thinking about buying a small airplane, so who knows what I'll do. I've been wanting both for quite a while. In the meantime I'll just count my blessings.

Just remember that it's not the purchase price but the cost of ownership that makes airplanes expensive -- even the small ones.

Congrats, btw! Deciding how to spend it is at least half of the fun...

I was going to warn him about taxiing through school zones, but you are right... the car wash is the real concern here!

Congrats Duane... sounds like you have earned yourself the opportunity to fulfill some life-long dreams.

    Thanks for the advise guys

BTW, I've owned a plane before, and your right. Purchase price of a plane is only the down payment, they are truely bottomless pitts, thus I haven't owned for the last 15 years. I'm actually looking for a sport plane with folding wings that can be kept at home, saving a ton of money in hanger fees, plus legally I can do my own maint. I'm not looking to go fast or far, I just want a toy.
