Buy a shiny new NC
Buy a shiny new MSM
Buy a shiny new Solstice
Buy a shiny new S2000
Wait for the NC MSM
Buy a used NA or NB
Buy something completely different
Take the money and run!
Get rid of the empty boxes...
Another NA... well, maybe a S2K or a RX-8. They're all such good cars it's hard to decide.
Possibly a 1.6 with LSD to build up a STS2 car with and compete against Hollis.

i was considering getting the "custom/aftermarket parts coverage" here soon because since everything was pretty much used, itd be a pain to replace rb springs koni yellows, a new borla, simpson harness, etc etc etc... especially for the prices ive been getting.... (its random man!)
id like to eventually get a 99 but a nice 90/91 has to come first. its the lightest miata out of the box. mines 2200 lbs. it doesnt have the side impact beams in the doors, and someother things that were added later. slap in a 1.8l and youre fastern most other naturally aspirated miatas!
Actually, that's a misconception. All North American Miatas have side impact beams in the doors, even the '90s, iirc.Originally Posted by BAM!
FWIW, my '99 is barely over 2200 pounds at the moment... and that's without removing anything other than the spare tire.![]()

Ya think that Mazda ought to be concerned? 28 votes so far, and not a single one of us would buy an NC.![]()

I would try to find a new 05 MSM at a dealer somewhere, I know they were selling them pretty cheap a month or so ago.
2007 Sport - Stormy Blue Mica - No mods yet
If I got enough out of it I think I would have to spring for the Stook. Depends on what was going on in my life though when it got stolen. If it was stolen tomorrow(oh please God no!) I would get another NB(and closetly lust for a MSM), but if I were either out of school or just about to be out of school(bach degree at least, MBA can wait) I think I would go for the S2K.

First I don't remember voting in this poll but it says I already did, second the new post link says last post was today but the thread says 3/17
90 MX5 281k miles! - euro spec, Porsche Riviera Blue w/black hardtop, 97 motor swap, vintage Borbet rims, GC, FM shock hats/frame rails/rear sub-brace, AGX, sway bar, stb, Fidanza/ACT combo, EBC Yellows
92 COMMA SM - new paint coming soon...
Anyways, I'd be in the same position as Titus. I've put so much into the damn car between performance parts, odd euro parts and blood and sweat! But I guess I'd just have to buy another NA and try to duplicate it.

Fine. I'll get a new NC. Someone has to be different!

I think I'd use the money for another black R-package. The next one will have better paint than black roadster, though!

Wealth, power, and experience are apparently not enough to save us from social influences. Groupthink, as described by I.L.Janis, is the tendency for group members to reach a consensus opinion, even if that decision is downright stupid (Janis 1982).
