This was my first time running the car in full CSP form and I love it! I still need to get an intake (and a 99 engine ), but the TEIN flex coilovers V710s are really awesome.

I wish I would have run in the same run group as more of you so we could get some more time to chat. Maybe next time.
It may have been slick, but your car stuck the best out there. Those were crazy times you had in that NA- just about TToD, I think.
My best time in the 'morning' heat was a 59.9 and got it down to 58.0 for the second half of the day.
You rolled in with a 56.5? crazy.

58.0 is definitely nothing to laugh about, especially on street tires!

We're just there to give the Porsche guys an ego check.

BTW, I think Rick Gonzales ran a 54 something in that yellow 914 on slicks with the 6 cyl. He's a really nice guy and owns a Miata (black and tan NA). I've seen him at a couple BMWCCA events racing it.

Here's a pic my friend took of the car. The wheels with the 25mm offset do not stick out of the fenders surprisingly. Just some proof for Merv, who thought they would.

Thanks guys. Most of the Porsches were up front and not in the back of the lot with the lowly Japanese cars.

Kevin Hardison. Check the Mav PCA website or email Wendy. I'm sure she's got contact info for him.

I am just curious after looking at the above pic.
Did you guys have to run that day with your tops up?
I had family come into town last minute and couldn't make it.

Nope, we just keep out tops up between runs to keep the weather out.

Tops down are allowed now- rollbar or not. It was changed last year I believe.
I saw you at the bus lot in the morning, but didn't didn't see you make any runs. Wondered where you went.
