Denton Police seek man who took things from apartment

Police are looking for a man who took advantage of a friend’s goodwill and stole from her.

The woman said she allowed a man she’s known for two years to stay in her apartment for about a week while he looked for a job.
She came home from work Tuesday and discovered the man was gone, along with some of her property. He apparently took two sets of earrings and a knife. All the alcohol bottles in her apartment were empty, she said. The woman also reported he took three valuable old silver dollars. They were in individual cases, she reported, and he replaced them with Alcoholics Anonymous milestone coins.
