Easy!
1. Finish my Spec project...
2. MP45, intercooler, and some SSRs for the Daily Driver!

What would you do to your Miata if money were not the issue.
Rulz:
I'll post mine later. Got to go get ready for work.
- No trade-ins, must involve your current Miata
- Must be technically feasable and reasonable. No Flux capacitors, etc...
- Be serious! No 22" Spinnaz
- Must be upgrades or modifications to the Miata only! No drivers ed, dream garages, etc...

Lightness? What's that? I drive a PRHT!
Pretty much this. Except minus the hard top and plus the HDSDD that I've already installed. And with grey paint, like mine.![]()

I expect I will do most everything listed some day. I have a list that I created when I bought the car 5 years ago that listed everything I wanted to do, prioritized. I broke it out into $1500-2000 a year, and I have stuck to it, only making a few small changes to the list as I go.
- FM Rear Shock Towers
- FM Butterfly brace
- Big brake kit
- Leather seats
- Momo wheel
- new carpet
- paint refresh (bumpers, rear finish panel, and mirrors re-painted, PDR and professional chip repair on the body)
- 16" BBS RG-Fs
- FM built bottom end, ported and polished head
- custom engineered 1.6 MP62 kit
- custom stereo with headunit that runs windows
Money not an issue? I would probably prep my car to the very edge of the SM2 rules. So supercharged with all the supporting mods. Fully adjustable custom suspension yadda yadda.
stitch weld all seams
new gussets on unibody
acid dip uni body
m2 subframes, new poly bushings, custom control arms
goodwin brakes
fm butterfly brace, frame rails, and cannon RLCA brace
cf hard top, trunk, finish panel, hood, headlight lids
maybe CF doors and fenders
jubiride fender flares, super low offset wheels like the Work Equip 03's
HDHCDD w. leather cover over the padding
TEIN coilovers w. EDFC
STACK instrument cluster, aftermarket standalone EMS
double DIN am/fm/cd/mp3/dvd/navigation head unit, amp, and components
Moss lo-pros, w. hid conversion, exotic rear lights w. LEDs
CF racing seats, w. 5pt harnesses
alcantara/suede quick release steering wheel
6speed tranny w. Torsen or aftermarket LSD
and then theres the ~$20k motor.![]()
My primary objective is a fun street car that can also have some fun on the track.

I'm not exaclty sure what I'd do, but it would probably involve a Sawzall and a tow vehicle....![]()

Nah, if funds were unlimited, I had to keep the Miata, and I had a tow vehicle I'd probably hack off the windshield, gut the interior, and build a car for DP or XP.

1. Buy a Miata, for this example, a leftover 05 mazdaspeed
2. Strip it down to around 2000lbs
3. bump it up to around 250hp at the rear wheels
4. Have fun.

Strip it down and rebuild the car 100%.. just like on Overhauled or whatever that show is. But it'd still look the same, just everything new or totaly restored!

If money's not an issue, I'm bribing Kumho to build some 710s in 285/30-15. It's technically feasible, by gum. Other than that... what he said.Originally Posted by Majik

Actualy now that I think about it, I would pay those Australian guys to build me a 4-rotor with the carbon apex seals from the Renesis motor... that or just a good old fasion 20b swap.
nice job photoshopping your mirrors onto my car!Originally Posted by JDMClassic
