Of all of the places out there selling seats, what landed you there?

I wouldn't trust any of 'em for racing unless they were FIA homologated or some other standards approved seat.

Heck, I'm wondering if the mechanisms in their reclining seats would even hold up if you were hit from behind. Your seat may suddenly recline backwards if you were it... Not that it could go far in a Miata, but you may have a roll bar at the top of your head. Ouch.

I believe it was in an autoweek issue where I read about a Chineese built Isuzu Rodeo look alike. $14,000 is all that it costs. A european crash test rated it just above a Yugo for safety.

I think I would agree with the others here and say "caveat emptor."

What made you think you wanted racing seats? Gonna buy an NC and turn your present car into a Spec?

If they were practical for daily use, Altiain would never have spent 30 min. per day swapping seats to drive from NRH to Mineral Wells. Who do we know that keeps a racing seat in his daily driver? Nuff said.
