does anyone know anything about the track in wise county?
If you don't already know, a 2.5 mile track is currently under construction in Wise county, just outside of slidell, at the fm 45&455 intersection. They are making an FIA bid too, and keep talking up the city council about getting a Formula 1 race (hehe). Yeah right, and if they did get an F1 race, I'd hate to see what a session will cost out there.
I have some ariel shots from the wise county newspaper, but can't find a scanner here in the office. Its supposed to be complete in 2008. Let me just go ahead and confirm that they already have construction underway, and from the ariel shots it looks like they might be ready to pour some concrete soon.
hopefully by the time its built, my shitbox will be ready and i'll have a steady job where I can actually get on the track. I haven't been out on msr in 6 years or so.
