I could probably meet you in Lewisville if you can be ready to be on the road AT 6.Originally Posted by driftdevil
Thanks anyway. There will only be 2 of us there until 6 so I won't get out till about 15 after and I still need to grab my stuff and change clothes.

I am basing my times on trying to be at MCD at 7, but I am the FNG. How long do people hang out at MCD before heading out to MW? If it is a 90 minute leisurely breakfast, then I can wait in Lewisville way past 6, but if it is a 10 minute grub and go, I don't want to miss it and then have to scramble to find MW. Again, FNG here, so I really don't know.Originally Posted by driftdevil

I'll be there...first time out with rollbar, racing seat and harness set-up. All i need now are (4) new shoes for the ride. Hope i can get up that early.
Should be fun and not quite blazing hot.
Great event! Special thanks to Majik for helping me read the course and teaching me a lot about autocrossing. I think I learned a lot.![]()
Another great S2K event! 10 runs (that's right, 10) on a 70+ second fast and fun course! Nice to see everyone. Congrats to Titus for making it out to his first (hopefully not last) event.![]()
What the results don't show is that Clovis went back to street tires for the afternoon and on street tires, was .495 faster than the fastest official street tire time
He actually had FTD on r's and street tires.
Why did he go back to street tires? Did he cord those Hoosiers already?Originally Posted by onething

Not corded. I believe he was unhappy with how they were performing on the rough surface. I know I walked by his car right after his run and it looked like every piece of gravel from the whole course was stuck to his tires.Originally Posted by altiain

Nice job Clovis!
Awesome course Clovis! That was such a fun event.
It was a great learning experience for Brian. He spun quite a few times, but got the hang of it by the end of the day.
