There was also some speculation that Montoya was tired of racing against the big red F
He hasn't really set the F1 world on fire, maybe he is looking for better job security.
First time he gets bumped he'll have a rude awakening.

Sure seems like a waste of potential to go from Formula 1 to NASCAR. But since he was losing his F1 ride anyhow............

___Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, who has had a number of close calls on the track with Montoya, declined to answer when asked whether he will miss him.
But Schumacher said he can't see himself following Montoya to NASCAR.
"Personally I wouldn't do it," he said. "What do you see in NASCAR? What is exciting about it? I can't see running around in ovals. I don't see the challenge for me."
