Agreed. This event was nothing compared to last year. Somewhat disappointing but for the price it's still a blast.

TC won the model and a special hat for having the fastest time of the hour in the Mazdaspeed. I was third for my hour behind Onething and Lance A.

The lines were long enough that I didn't go back for the second run in the Mazdaspeed. The target hunt was cool... The RX-8 hopped to the left through that first right-hand corner - odd feeling but still fun... And the MX-5 was very fun. The only car I drove that I didn't like was that burgundy colored wagon for the match time.
As for the T-Shirt... I'd be up for one too as long as the design is cool. Sounds like a new thread is in order for proposing designs.

I was talking to TC about how we both had experienced that. He said that that was the traction control kicking in... He said it can be disabled, but you also loose the ABS if you turn it off.
The last time I saw the top times of the hour, it had Lance 1st, you 2nd, me 3rd. It is possible that someone did better at the end of the hour after we left. When I went back and asked who won and who placed for the first hour, they would only tell me the winner (Lance).

Which car did you get Treibenschnell? What kind of times were you getting on the courses? I'm happy to hear that someone got a car. My friends and I left when the rain started to come on Saturday morning. My buddy has a new RX-8 and he didn't want it to get hailed on and what not. I would have liked to make more runs.

Ha! I ruled out the CX7 straightaway and had it narrowed down to the MS3 or MX5. Went with the Miata 'cuz the mfr actually put some effort into the interior detailing.
(I did NOT have TTOH on the AX, but I beat the target time. Came within 0.5 sec on the Matched Time and made up the difference with the Target Hunt.)
Still speaking in my defense... I got the MX5 last year!
