OK, so we have this pretty old Persian named Apex. Now Apex is not the sharpest cat on the block, as he has a terrible time judging distances, which means it usually takes two or three tries to jump up to a table, couch, counter top....well, you get the idea!

Shelley likes to burn candles around the house. So? You wonder what this has to do with Apex........ We just renamed him "Fireball"! Yup, you guessed it.....caught his tail on fire! Luckily, Shelley had just gotten up from the sofa and I heard a scream and some commotion in the kitchen. She had just put out the fire! I knew I bought her that fire engine for a reason........

BTW, all is well. She caught it just in time and Apex...err....Fireball just charred the hair on the end! Poor

At least the cat didn't set the whole house on fire!

As a cat owner and lover, I am laughing with you, not at you! Glad Apex is OK. (Good name btw)

That could've turned out bad for your nice wooden house. Glad all is well. Poor
