    Default Schumi Retires

At the after race press conference today in Monza Schumi announced his retirement. I cant believe it.

And now the official word is that it is going to be Kimi and Massa at Ferrari next year. Kimi is through 09 and Massa is just on for next year. Rumors going around now are that Schumi was pushed out of ferrari. We'l see what comes up.

Damned shame... I would not have believed it was going to happen. I wonder if Ferrari made him sign a no-compete clause? Perhaps in 6 months or so he'll drive for someone else... that would be interesting to see.

You kid, but I'd wager that he'd move over to NASCAR. It would be a brilliant marketing plan to garner overseas viewers and add a large new (global!) audience to NASCAR.

The way he drives? I can see him doing the "Schumi chop" coming into Turn 1 at TMS and taking out 20+ cars.

Then again, I guess that's standard NASCAR.
