The New York Times just did a write up on the movie... and how alot of people believe he's a raving anti-semite. Perhaps they're not looking past the idiocy of it all?

I haven't seen a lot of his stuff, but I could see how some could be offended by his country song.

    Shhhh.... Magma might get offended.

The movie trailer was funny. Were the people in the Honky tonk real or actors? They looked like real locals.
    ...and across the line.

    1996 Mazda Miata - R-Package (Eve-L)
    2012 Mazda CX-9 - Grand Touring (Dory)

Whether or not they're actors, you're not gonna offend hicks in a southern Arizona bar unless you bash the President or support illegal immigration. So either way, I don't think it really matters. Although, if they are actors, kudos to the casting director for finding such authentic looking folk!

Of course Sasha Baron Cohen (the man behind Ali G) is Jewish.

I remember reading that about the rodeo scene last year when he was quoted with, "...and may george bush drink the blood of every man, woman, and child in Iraq."

I love borat, but don't know if I could deal with him for a full hour.

I'd just like to insert a plug here for Little Miss Sunshine. It's the best comedy we've seen in years. Hyserical, heartwarming, absolutely profane... it's incredibly good.

Borat looks like it's about as much fun as An Inconvenient Truth...
