    Dude... for all the crap we give you, you've got a car you like. For all appearances, it's got a straight chassis (through whatever miracle - and that's not meant to be a slam, just stating fact). It looks like you want it to look, and it sounds like it drives how you want it to drive.

    It doesn't matter a whit if the car is worth something to someone else as long as it's worth something to you. My car needs a trip to the body shop - if I were interested in selling it - because it has cosmetic damage that reduces its value to someone else - and probably reduces it more than the cost of fixing it. But... I can live with the boo-boos.

    If there's stuff you want to do to your car, don't think of how it affects resale value - think of how it affects value to you. If you can crunch the numbers and figure out the $$$ payback to your pleasure, it probably makes sense.

    I guess you guys will have another Miata to beat in Autocross again.

    I haven't been out lately cause of the heat, but am looking forward to doing some real soon, with the new anjin.

    I'm with the others... get the supercharger. You'll enjoy that more than the bike when dealing with traffic and rain.

    I sold my bike to get my Miata and haven't had a moments regret!!

    As the others have said, if you like your Miata, and you have fun driving it, who cares what someone else thinks its worth!?! None of us here make mods to our cars expecting to recoup the money when/if we ever sell. The market doesn't work that way. But we do it anyway because its what we want to do and because it makes the experiance of driving that much more fun. And I don't know about you, but my life can use all the extra fun I can throw at it!

    Now quit reading this and get out there and drive!!
