Hey guys & gals,
We all have gotten some kind of phishing email over the years - please confirm your banking information or we'll close your account, etc... The sad part is we all know of relatives that will click on that crap and actually enter their information.
There's a cool program that will show you on your browser what domain you are really on when you click those links to bring up the page. This helps with the issues where the URLs are obfuscated (funny word meaning "encoded" in such a way you can't really read them) or when they are hidden under another line of text that makes them look like you really are going to eBay.com.

Enjoy!

Lightness? What's that? I drive a PRHT!
Yup.
Fellow SE here at work showed me this one. I'll be putting it on mom's PC as well as mom-in-law's to help keep them safer with all this phishing crap going on.
