I passed inspection for the 2nd time since I added the turbo. This time I just went in and had it tested, I didn't mess with the link at all.![]()

I failed first time through with the LINK. I did a little testing and realized the high-pressure fuel pump I had installed in the pre-LINK days was intermittently overpowering the stock FPR. I put the stock pump back in and re-tuned the fuel and re-tested. Second test was much better, but still failed by a tad. I replaced my FM cat with an OEM one and I passed by a mile.
I had no problems last week with the M45 and an E-Manage Ultimate.

Interesting. I've had my FM cat since 02? and it's always passed just fine. My stock cat. was dead when I replaced it.

Looking in side it, it looks to me like a resonator with a piece of window screen just inside each flange.![]()
Another interesting thing... I have the WB02 in front of the cat and the guy doing the roller test sticks a sniffer in the tailpipe that displays AFR in his computer screen. That allowed me to watch pre and post cat numbers during both tests. With the FM cat, it was 14.8 in and 14.8 out. With the OEM cat, it was 14.8 in and over 19 out.
