I hear it is pretty easy to get on the runways at DFW these days, so we could just go there. I think there is an open gate on the east side with a gravel road to the runway.

Being in Lubbock, you probably did not hear all the hubbub, but one of the big local news subjects this week was some guys who got on to a DFW runway during a police chase because DFW(?) had left gates open and created gravel access roads for construction crews working out there.

Yep, those guys got arrested. One of those things that was not a big deal, but the news made it into a big deal.

I'm in, hoping for G stock. The Escort should be finished in time. If not and my Falken's get here in time to be mounted and get an alignment, TES. If not, ES on some old V700's. The Bridgestones will not last through another event.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Great, he'll bring the Bridgestones and then expect to bum a co-drive off someone else when he can't run with them. Sheesh, the nerve of people.

I'm trying to decide if I want to take the Si there with virgin street tires (it does have the PE2s but they're still not a race tire).

The other option would be to wait until next year and run it with autox tires straight out da gate. My fear is not slow times (which are a given), but rather f'ing up the PE2s.

Shouldn't be too hard on tires. Bring it out.

Good point. Looks like a pretty extensive registration list for the last event of the year.

Guess I better get that "G" ordered from the graphics guy.

We plan on seeing Casino Royale at Studio Movie Grill in Addison the night before. Maybe I'll get inspired by the movie and be super fast!
