I have an older issue of import racer with this wrx in it. That's too bad. You can see fluid draining toward the gutter in the fire picture.
He made very good decisions on performance parts, and spent a great deal of money making it subaru and jdm authentic.
Hope he had full coverage.
Ya that's a shitter.
80k invested.
20k insurance coverage...and his premiums will go up. Damn.

All that money on go fast goodies and bling yet couldn't spare at least a couple bills on a fire system. You'd think with that investment $300 for a basic fire system would be a must have.

Car actually didn't look bad except for the non-matching
coloured cage!
I've had a fuel leak catch fire on a modded trans am, my cousin's 944 burned to the ground, and a race buddy burned to death a few yrs ago after a traffic accident broke the fuel & nitrous lines so... I think I'll be installing a fire system on my car when I get the money to go FI. Basic systems start as low as $200-300, well worth it IMO.
