Default Anyone have a copy of IE6?

I just upgraded my laptop to 7 and it stinks. I don't really use it but for Windows updates and some UNT online class stuff, otherwise I use Firefox. However, I'd like to revert back to 6 and it's plain jane usefullness. So how or where can I find it? Thanks!

Ewwww - accounting software shouldn't have anything to do with browsers. Too many security flaws!

IE7 is known not to work with many applications. Don't install it!

Been running it at home for over a week, no problems so far. It will be years before they upgrade us at work.

IE 6 is still on the microsoft downloads site. IE 7 is pushed out through windows updates. There is a gadget you can download from Microsoft to keep IE6 and have it skip that download.

And yes, older Quickbooks do not like IE 7!

If you check the "do not show this update" or whatever it's called on the Windows Update site, will it still try to install via Automatic Updates?

You probably need to turn on SSL2.0 from tools/Internet Options/Advanced

That will fix most security issues, as it is off by default.
