Default Noob from Rowlett - Greetings All

I've been lurking on this forum for a while and thought I'd make my presence known. Had my '92 Classic Red for a couple of years and had joined another local Miata club. I decided I wanted to see what the "racer boys" were doing and maybe even figure out how to get started doing something more than Sunday driving with my Miata. I call mine "Jiminy" which came from JM1NA in the VIN number and my wife loves everything Disney.

I did a few mods to Jiminy last spring which included a total rework of the suspension. I lowered it about 1.4" and replaced about everything but the sways. New brakes and a roll bar and then I took it to Colorado to test everything out. Drove it like I stole it for over 2400 miles. Jiminy performed like a champ.

Look forward to getting to know the group better and maybe hitting a few Autocross events.

    Welcome to the madness, Jiminy.

We won't say anything bad about that other club... except that there is more to life than driving to the next Sonic.

Nice looking car! What kind of roll bar is that? Is it a Frog? It looks great.

I live in Rowlett but I don't recall I ever see your car. I have seen a NC, a couple NBs and a few beater NAs.

Welceome! I usually goes to all the S2K AX. Perhaps we can head out together for the 07 season!

By the way I have two black 99s, one sport with a roll bar and one touring w/o roll bar. Give me a honk if you see me around.
