Shopping has not ended but we have been greatly underwhelmed by possible replacements for her Miata.

We were told that it would take 8-10 weeks, but got one within days..... The sales staff don't put forth any effort until they see $$$$$$.

If you get one before Dec 30, ya' gotta come on the Mini run to Waco...... Shelley wnet to the XMas party and had lots of fun, so we're going on our first run.

They saw the $$$, appraised the trade-in, and wasted a couple hours of my time. So I seemed to go through all the proper steps but sadly they just couldn't meet my requirements and time line.

Still hope that you are able to get the car of your dreams.

My Father had a real good experience at Moritz BMW/Cadilac. He went throught the desires of wanting a 325i and ended up changing his mind to a CTS back last year. The sales person beat Classic BMW and Crest Cadilac, both.

A friend of mine also had a real good experience a year and a half ago with a guy at Mini of Dallas named Jeremy De La Torre. He bought a 2005 S Hard top. My friend has been back looking at BMW Z cars again, he also has a Z3.

I have driven his Mini and it is a real fun car to drive. He only got 11000 out of his original set of tire, but if he was driving the car like he drove it with me in there, those tires held up fairly well.

I got Shelley's at Moritz, too. On the way home last night I noticed two Mini's on the used car lot at the Acura dealer on North 820, just east of I35W. One was a copper conv and the other a blue coupe, in case one of these might be what you're looking for.........
