So it comes with the "The Price Is Right Girls"?![]()
Anyone know anything about these seats?
I have been reading that the wide model fits in an NB and

They do fit. The width at the shoulders is just right and buddy club will custom make the bracket to oem specs.
Speed and I and 4 other guys were talking about them last weekend. You might have left. Sport Compact Car had them in their project miata. Great seats. Great price. Great quality.
Buddyclub.us is advertising a special edition seat that will be offered in carbon or frp. Check out the seat and the brackets.
Tim, don't spend $600+ on seats.

Do the two I pick have to be on the same girl?

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Tim, is this your daily driver? Do you really want to climb into a fixed racing seat every morning to drive to work?
Not trying to burst your bubble. Just asking if you've thought this through.

Good thing to think about. I bought racing seats (albeit adjustable crappy ones) and I never could get used to them in my DD Supra. A Buddy Club is obviously better quality... but... like with my Momo that I previously had, I sat in it the first time and thought "Ya know, this may be cool, but HECK no for every day". Needless to say I got rid of it quick![]()

One more thing. That seat looks like it has some pretty deep thigh bolsters. If they are above your lap, you probably won't be able to use a stock seat belt safely.
I wouldn't want to daily drive a car with harnesses.

Like altiain and miatamoto said see if you can fit in the seat. Also consider if you would be able to get in and out with out having to go with a quick release hub or smaller steering wheel.
As far as the seatbelt goes, it might be possible ot use the stock one if you run it throught the side holes.

As far as comfort in a DD. I have a set of race seats in my CJ. Not this particular brand but race seats non the less. I am very comfortable driving around in it all day long on or off the road. They provide great support.
I have thought about all the things you guys have mentioned. Over on another roadster forum there are a few people with these seats installed and they seem to be pretty happy with them for support, price and comfortability. My problem is that I may not find anybody locally that has them for me to sit in and get a feel for myself. The things I don't like about the leather surfboards are that they extremely hot in the summer, you slip and slid and if I plan to get more open track lessons I want a seat that will accept a harness.

So do what altiain used to do. Put the seat in when you need it and leave the OEMs in the rest of the time. Don't worry about the heat in the summer - just get some coolio beaded seat cushions like mine![]()
