    ya i think i would only be standing at the start line where nothing doing more then .5 mph is going to be coming at me

    You know what could happen, and make a wise choice. Those spectators may not have seen a drag race before. Or, the things that can go wrong at a drag race.

    I'm sure VERY EARLY drag races in the US were watched from similar vantage points. It is a shame we cannot learn from the experience of others

    It is possible that some of them got ran over and turned into doormats instead of got tossed!

    I took that into consideration but figured there would be more sunni flingings, based upon the speed of the car, and the way that it was crumpled at the end.
