Looks good, for me it would light up every 2 seconds though
Got a Revlight for X-mas and installed it last night. Very cool. It has 11 LEDs that can be programmed to light up cumulatively, one at a time or all together as a shift light. It also has a light sensor built in to auto-dim them at night. Install took about 30 minutes. I have it set cumulatively like above and it works really well.

How did ya tie it into the wiring??
It has 4 wires... Power, ground, signal, and programming. FM provides instructions for wiring Power ground and signal directly into the ECU, into the back of the gauge cluster, or in to the under-hood diagnostic port (where you jump 10 to ground to set idle and timing). I chose the diagnostic port, as it was easier than pulling out the gauges or the ECU. For the programming line, you are supposed to touch it to ground at several points during programming. This seemed awkward to me so I hard-wired it to ground with an in-line momentary push-button mounted under the dash which really worked well.

That looks pretty cool, F1 like!
FM states that this RevLights are numbered and once their gone they're gone... well with a little creativity and a trip to radio shack you can build a case for this as an option to FM.

Don't look...there's nothing down here for you!
Not when I am trying to stay focused on the road ahead.Actually, one of the big reasons I got it is the same reason FM is carrying it... the Westfield. The Westfield uses the Miata instrument cluster, but most seem to think it works best with a pretty small wheel. When you go with the optimal wheel, it tends to block the view of the tach. The Revlight was found to alleviate this. I got it now because they are in limited supply and will likely be gone by the time I have a Westfield. In addition, It should come in handy in Autocrossing where I find myself frequently surprised by the rev limiter. Plus it is F-1 cool!
