That looks very cool. I have never been rock crawling like that. I would imagine it is a ton of fun.

Your OTM looks much better in the rocks than it does in your driveway. Take it out often. It does look like fun.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Geez, talk about drinking too much and running off the road!

Looks fun. I bet it was a blast.

    I miss 4-wheeling.

Glad you had a safe trip. Any Jeep carnage out there?

    For me? no.

For many others, yes. All the rain we had x 3 went through Clayton. Water in normally dry stream beds was swallowing 40" tires. The mud was so bad the only way to get anywhere was either skinny pedal or winch. Lots of broken parts. Access roads were washed out an turned into class 4 trails on a 1 to 5 scale. It was nice to have a capable rig just to get around the back country.

This is the first trip I have had time for in 6 months. I gotta get out more often. I am trying to shoot for once a month.

Nice thing about the Jeep, roads are more a suggestion then a rule.

When I first got it running it made an unexpected trip into a ditch when I hit a big bump on the service road. I still had steering issues at that time. it was horrible until it got into the dirt. As soon as it was in the grass the hadling problems stopped and I had no problems what so ever with control. All of those problems have been fixed, now if I could just make it corner like the Miata.

    Very cool!

I've been a little intrigued by the crawling scene for maybe a year; it just looks intense and fun, but in a way totally different from the driving I usually do.

    Hmm...
Maybe we should have a li'l meet where everyone drives that "other" vehicle. Might be entertaining considering the diversity it'd show.

I'm definitely interested. It looks like fun as it's something I've never done.
