Interesting. Magma's curve looks really linear for a turbo engine. I'd love to get a ride in that car sometime to see how linear the engine response is.

When you combine the ease of making big power on an MSM with Hoosier's upcoming 275/35-15 R compounds, an MSM starts looking like it might be a viable alternative to the boost buggies in BSP. It doesn't have 400hp and AWD, but it is a lot smaller, a lot lighter, better balanced, has a much lower CG, and a more sophisticated suspension arrangement. What it was lacking was power and big rubber, but the rubber issue will be solved this season (provided you don't mind hacking up your fenders), and the MSM looks like it has quite a bit more accessible power than was originally thought.

    Hmm...

that pic calls for either, better offset, wider wheels, or spacers... IMO

No thanks. I'd rather buy a set of Tuckin99 flares, or just make my own.

agreed, those are clean. The AWR kit is lame. I would need better visual or physical coercement to buy the AWR kit.

    Hey Iain,

Look again on Magma's torque curve, it is not flat at all. You might have been looking at Todds which is nice and flat.

Also on the turbo boost, the MSM over boost to 10 PSI and then settles at 9 PSI. The MSM is a nice setup. I am still surprised how the stock clutch is holding up and Shawn does not baby this car at all!

The 2 blue lines are the Supercharger (mine) and the red lines are the MSM (Magma).
