Nope... I've got 12V all over the car... lights are working but I can't hear the fuel pumps priming nor will it try to start over.

Not to mention the CEL light didn't come on when you turn the key 2 clicks.

Basic stuff, but did you check all the fuses and relays (the ones under the hood too) ?

Yup... I have a couple of extra, new relays that I was swapping around... Titus was helping me track down some of the other loose ends. The harness to the motor is complete with all connections made.

we are thinking the dash harness because we spotted a wire removed from it (in his search for added lightness) that looked like it went to a pin on the instrument cluster that was labeled IGN.

Have you checked the ignition switch with a meter to see if it's doing what it is designed to do?? My thought is the fuel pump (& CEL) comes on when ignition is switched on.

I got the big harness (that connects from the motor through the firewall to the ECU and such) from you a while back (and it worked fine!)... the one I'm looking for is the one that resides under the dash, attached to the dash.
