Lube the shit out of the front sway bar bushings.
This is a dumb question.
Whenever I hit a bump in my miata, EVERYTHING rattles. Rolled up windows shake, the top frame creaks, and noises come from everywhere. Is this common in old NAs or do I just not have that stiff of a car?
I do have a really stuff suspension setup, and not alot of bracing, and 140k miles. The only other miatas I've been in were NBs, and they seem to hit bumps with minimal BLAMMO sounds.
Would bracing fix it or should I just go for a different car when I decide to build it up?

You are not alone. I find that setting my KYBs to a softer setting helps a good deal. I am also told that the FM Butterfly brace helps a lot.
Whew ok, I feel better now. Its was just whenever I got into ANY other car I was like, "damn this is smooth and quiet".

Nah, the car is smooth as a fox if I turn down the shocks from their max settings (until it hits the ground). I shaved the bumpstops big time so it rarely hits them. Plus I think my car handles fine...
I don't care them beating the tar out of me, but it feels like the car is taking quite a bashing haha.
Mainly just the noises I was curious about, it did that before I had the suspension too. I guess I'll just brace it up and forget about it 'til something shakes loose.

Since you have a 91, you might want to get the chassis braces from Moss. It's a must have on any early model NA. Also, lube the rear sway bushings. Mine was creaking and this fixed it. Use a Marine Grease as it's more water resistant.
