Per the FAQs:
Go for it!The moderators around here don't know their burrow from a burro (that's ass from a hole in the ground for you college kids). Chances are, the disappearances of your post was the result of incompetent moderation. If you feel really bad about it, we suggest posting it again. If it's really offensive (and you expected someone would delete it), be sure to post it 5 or 7 times in various sections of the forum to see if the moderators will blow a gasket. I hear that can be pretty amusing.
I posted this link to a Saddam video and no, it's not political and is work safe.
Yeah thats my bad. I watched to about .1 second before he jumped up. I also had the sound down so I didnt hear anything. I figured it was political, sorry for not watching it all the way before I moved it. You can repost it or just leave the link in this thread since it really wasnt that funny and could probably go without being posted again.![]()
There are plenty of other forums on the web if you want to discuss religion and politics. This one isn't it. Need a litmus test? If it's on the national news, this is probably NOT the place to discuss it.
We, the management, being here of our own free accord and doing all moderation in our spare time may or may not delete posts. We may or may not feel like explaining why. It isn't usually an accident. Every once in a while it is (Sorry, redmenace), and a note to a moderator (using the handy PM system) will usually get a polite explanation of what was done or whose last nerve you stepped on. Whining in public will usually result in you being berated and having your likeness added to the smiley collection.

It only goes to show when people can no longer discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, or sexual orientation, they can improvise and still find someone to hate. - Dave Moulton
