I just had a two mile drive to the TRE station. Trinity was a little slick, but not too trecherous. Being 6:30 AM, there was not a lot of traffic yet, which makes things easier.

I went to work this morning. It took me about 45 minutes to get here (versus 15-20 minutes normally), but that was only because of all the idiots driving 11mph.
I got here around 8am, and I was the only one in the department. Some of the others have trickled in since, but probably only half of our normal workforce.
I didn't have any trouble with the RX-8 on summer tires at all. Never even saw the traction control light up. Then again, today's commute was nothing compared to driving a rental minivan down a mountain pass in a blizzard, like I got to do over Christmas.

The Spousal unit was touchy on the subject of the Spec's cage as that was going to dip into savings... but I got a CAP award over the weekend from work for some stuff I did with another team. That will pay for the other half of the cage.
