What's MSR?![]()
I am having a blast out at MSR. Three sessions down and no offs so far. David Ball is my instructor if anyone knows him. Very patient yet gives good feedback. I spent two weeks watching the 1.7 counterclockwise and get here to find out we are running clockwise. The school is very well run and worth it to this newB. Car is running GREAT!!

Holy s*h*i*t...............I broke my spin cherry in a very big way in the last session. Back end come out from under me on Ricochet at apparently too great of speed. (clockwise no less) I still can't figure out how it happened but it was worth the price of admission. Did a 360 then a 180 and ended up with my nose on the track and my ass off the track. I sure would have liked to seen the face of the BMW series 5 driver behind me. This all happened right in front of the Hart photography guy. I am hoping he has a record of this![]()
The pit chief told me that it was pretty amazing to watch and gave me props for doing it all on the trackMy instructor, a physician from Tyler, who races Spec Miata's laughed it off and said get right back on it after the car was looked at.

Wow Tim! I'm glad you had a fun time at MSR. I looked up the weather in Cresson, and it appeared that you had sunny skies all day long.
I now have my supercharger in my possession. I'll be coming back from Houston tomorrow evening.
Congrats Tim!
Mmmmmm track time. Can't wait for my next one.
Gary, how's father's day looking?????
