New M3
The BMW M3 "Concept" was unveiled at Geneva today. Estimates are a 4.0 liter V8 with 420hp. The body work is very close to production-ready. I very much hope they lose the "power bulge" hood -- it's completely hideous. Lots of you-can't-afford-itness is guaranteed as well.

In the link the power bulge looks a lot smaller, maybe it's the lighting. i'm sure the power bulge will get smaller if put in to production. The rest of the body looks great to me. I'm sure the price tag will go up even higher than the current m3. Nice care none the less.

LOL....I like the hood too. I wouldn't say that hood would be a deal killer for me. I just don't like the way you get reamed on maintenance on German cars.

Meh. When the E36 M3 came out, I was in love from the first look. When the E46 M3 came out, I thought it was beautiful. This one really kinda leaves me indifferent.
Not that it matters anyway. It'll weight 3800 pounds, have an eleventy billion speed SMG that bucks like a bronco during "normal" driving, and IDrive will be standard, so even if I could afford one I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole.

The only part of the body I don't like is the rear. It looks as if it has no trunk at all. If they were going to do it like they did I would have lost the rear seats. I think the body is to long for they way the trunk is set up.
