    Miatamoto,

I think this has been asked many times. However, it has been a long time since I went to the BMW event, what is the load down in attending the event. Membership? $? registration, run group/format, event start and finish times? break for lunch? etc.

    Thanks!

Same format as the S2000 events except there are 3 run groups. You run one, rest one, and work one. No lunch break with 4 runs in the morning and 4 in the afternoon.

Street tire Miatas are all in X-class.

They allow one event without getting membership to BMWCCA, but I'm not sure if they really ever check that.

I thought this was kind of neat -- a little preview of the venue:

Well, due to purchasing a new car and having to pay for a lot of maintenance, I'm going to miss this one. Sorry guys... maybe I'll make the next one

I will be there from 6:45-7:15. I have an FNG co-driving with me, so I want to get there in plenty of time to get the car ready and learn him the ropes.

Sigh... if you scroll due north form the Bus Lot, you'll see the VIP/West Lot, where we used to be able to run.

Fun/fast/challenging course at one of my favorite venues! We had a good battle in X class today. Miatamoto (you suck! ) took 1st, apex2apex 2nd, me 3rd, POS 4th and jrj512 came in 5th (unofficially).
8 runs on an ~80 second course is hard to beat!

83.5 was my best. I need a track dog splitter, that'll get me 7/10ths at least.

Man, I finally got my times down for the second half of the day, but I kept coning, dang it. Oh well, it was a good time, so it really does not matter. I really liked the track, with the exception of the extra tight slalom at the end, but I guess it was needed to slow us down.

I don't know about you guys, but working my corner for the second half of the day was not as fun as the first half. Amazing the things we learned about that sicko Miatamoto.

I hope everybody enjoyed watching the FNG almost take the fence down in my car.

84.386. I think I should have use my headlights so the photons rushing out could help move that heavy air from in front of my car. And, I did not have a bag of cement to put in aalvarez04's car. Way to drive, Andrew. And, Maan did a great job also. Hell, we all did.

Great to see everybody today! I'm with Sam, the bus lot is a great venue. A decent amount of space and almost zero tire wear. Gotta love it!

I managed to drop some more time in the afternoon and ended up with a 76.8. I almost made a 76.2 but got behind on that last slalom.

    See ya'll next weekend.
