Pulled in a 83.121 in the old integra on my 7th run, 8th run I understeered one corner and pulled in a 81.9x +2. So close! Could of been in the 81 range..... oh well next time :) DNF'ed my first 2 runs because I was lost....3rd run was with an instructor, 4th run was decent at 85.xxx.

Don't knock arcade games, I learned to drive stick on Ferrari 355 Challenge
No, seriously.
I was buying a 5-spd Supra a while back (after having an auto Mercedes and Supra) and I played that game several times at a shopping mall in Victoria TX. I was fine the first time I drove the Sup after that![]()
Those kids were just morons.

I must be getting slow in my old age. And I'm going to give you a big no on learning autocross from Forza. It might be good to learn a track like Laguna Seca, but since the course changes every autocross I think you're out of luck. Plus autocross is all about feeling what you car is doing, not just through your force feedback steering wheel.

Hope you didn't think I was serious about that![]()
Honestly... I'm not trying to learn it like that, that would just be silly. It does teach some valuable lessons though and lets you learn how some techniques work before you go practice them in your real car. It also has quite a few AutoX courses and you can do a lot of stuff with it. I have an NB painted just like my car in the real world and I play around with it now and then![]()
And I use a regular controller, I don't even have a wheel for it![]()
I don't know how to explain it, I've learned a LOT through simulations though.

Wow...that was a very clean run.
The last semi-straight before the 90 degree bend and ending slalom I slowed down too much beforehand every time, I wouldn't use all the track to my advantage...probably lost a good second there. I also took the first right after the first slalom too quickly I think, making myself too wide to the left...thus had to steer heavy to the right to make the checkpoint.
But, as I now know, seat time, seat time, seat time. I didn't do too bad out there, especially after just getting the car aligned right (new control arm due to obvious damage from hit and run) and that was the 2nd day I'd been really getting used to the alignment.
But, everyone I saw was doing good, and I liked meeting everyone, good crowd. I don't know who that old guy with LoneStarMiata was though...
I hope to be at the next one...
