Andy Hollis ran on the new Bridgestones at Walnut Ridge this past weekend. During Friday practice he ran these back-to-back on his own car against a fresh set of Azenis, and was a second faster on the Bridgestones. On a ~thirty second course.

I talked to Andy a little bit and he agreed that they were a faster tire, but he also commented that the setup of the practice course favored the Bridgestones over the Azenis, and that the time differential probably wasn’t truly representative. Still, Bridgestone cars won both STS and STS2 at the Tour, although a Falken car won STS at the “Pro”.

Read his review... he was testing a pre-release set of 195/50/15s. They are supposed to be available to the general public in about 6 weeks.

And 14" for us pre '95 owners? Give them a call, Titus, remind them that some people still need 14's. Bridgestone will listen to someone who is gainfully employed. Right?
