    Default Do you like coke?

So you think you drink too much soda? Maybe a can too many a day? Look at this guy. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1673926 24-30 cans of diet coke a day. I wonder what is worse for you, smoking or drinking that much coke.

That can't be good. Aren't high doses of artificial sweetner related to cancer?

I work with a guy who easily drinks 5-6 Diet Cokes during a normal work day. I've always thought that can't be good for you. All the sodium alone has to really mess up your system.

I can't even stand the idea of aspartame.
Yeah, one of the service advisors at Huffines drinks at least one, one gallon container of Diet Coke a day!!! Aspartame is dangerous in large amounts. Splenda isn't any better. Do a search on "sucralose" and see some of the results that have been discovered.

Heck, I think 3 cokes a day are a lot! But I guess we all have our various additions. For some it's posting bad videos, for others it's spending a lot of money on our cars, and for me it's procrastinating from doing my taxes by posting this message. Oh wait, that's not an addiction, it's a vice.

I drink a large soft drink every day, and I really need to quit. I don't drink half enough water

It's hard to stop when you've been doing it for years.

Dad's cousin drank a dozen Dr Peppers a day. She went to the MD with some problem and was told to stop smoking and drinking coffee. She did neither, but when she reduced her DP intake, the problem went away.

Made me think of this from Airplane:

Randy: Can I get you something?
Second Jive Dude: 'S'mofo butter layin' me to da' BONE! Jackin' me up... tight me!
    Randy: I'm sorry, I don't understand.
First Jive Dude: Cutty say 'e can't HANG!
Jive Lady: Oh stewardess! I speak jive.
    Randy: Oh, good.
Jive Lady: He said that he's in great pain and he wants to know if you can help him.
Randy: All right. Would you tell him to just relax and I'll be back as soon as I can with some medicine?
Jive Lady: Jus' hang loose, blood. She gonna catch ya up on da' rebound on da' med side.
Second Jive Dude: What it is, big mama? My mama no raise no dummies. I dug her rap!
Jive Lady: Cut me some slack, Jack! Chump don' want no help, chump don't GET da' help!
First Jive Dude: Say 'e can't hang, say seven up!
Jive Lady: Jive ass dude don't got no brains anyhow! Hmmph!

I stopped drinking a lot of coke shortly after (the day after) my first kidney stone. I hope all of you that drink tons of caffeinated drinks (like I used to) don't develop them later on Then again, 3 years later my body is still making them, despite cutting that stuff out of my diet.
