Anyone got a recomendation for a moving company that won't break the bank?

I think it just depends on your luck with the crew they send more than the company. One thing I learned is to try to be the first move of the day, no matter how early you have to start. Otherwise, they end up being late or not coming at all because of unforseen problems with earlier moves.

    Pick up some day laborers.
    ...and across the line.

I actually want to use my tv in the new house, I have moved enough to know that I need Insured and bonded people.

I am not looking for TCB pricing, just something reasonable

I always hear about Apple Moving on the morning show I listen to. I don't know about their pricing, but they don't use day laborers.

My buddy used Apple when he and his wife moved into a house a few years ago. They were very efficient, extremely careful, and he thought their pricing was plenty fair (esp considering it got us out of a LOT of heavy moving...).

I always slip them at least an extra 20 bucks each before they get started and promise more if nothing get busted up. Remember those guys are only making 10-15 dollars an hour and an extra 20+ buck goes a long way.
Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

We used SuperMovers with great success - as have several other folks I know. We got several bids and theirs was one of the lowest, which was great considering I called them based on other success stories. Nice not to have to spend more...

I'm pretty sure our guy was Shawn (Sean) McDaniel - he and his crew were great.

    Good luck,

We used The Apartment Movers last year to move the big stuff. We were not impressed.
