Still LOST???

I watch Lost, but it's getting lame with the no freaking conclusion or end in sight.

I have so much time invested I kindof need to have "closure". But man at least tie up at least one story line.

Also the "Russian" that died is no longer dead, so does Lock's father is not dead also. How 'bout all the other people that have died.

I gave up trying to guess where it is going long ago and now just hang on for the ride.

For those not up to date, Spoiler Alert!!!

Since Locke's father suggested they are in Hell, I know they aren't. They never give easy answers to anything. I doubt they are even dead. My guess is the Helicopter chick is not telling the truth and since there are only three episodes left in the season, expect another huge cliff hanger.

Other stale questions of interest for me are....

What is the smoke monster?
What's up with the polar bears?
How did the "other" with the eye patch survive and/or fake his death?
Are Walt and Michael gone for good?
Where are the kids?
Why does Russeau want the dynamite?
How did a slave ship end up in the middle of the island?
What is the Dharma Initiative?
How will Desmond's girl play into this?
What's the significance of the numbers?
What was the point of the Nikki and Paulo episode?

and... a biggie. What's up with Cindy the Flight Attendant?

I have only watched it a few times before realizing how succussful the show was going to be. If EVERYONE is lost, even the viewers, then they have succeeded. As for me, I grew up on watching Gilligan's Island. We all knew there was no closure in sight (as in they weren't getting off that island), but each episode had a beginning and ending. Just straight intertainment. In today's world, suspense needs to be acted upon soon or we are on to something else. There is nothing new, just how fresh it is.

I was out after the pilot... I kept thinking "they wrapped up Castaway in 3 hours... why are we still here?"

It seems like the homeless man's "Twin Peaks" to me...

Me and my short attention span can be found over on FX watching "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and lamenting the end of "The Shield".

They were skating on thin ice for the first few episodes this season, but last week started pulling it back together for me.

Personally - I like the challenge of trying to keep up with the nonlinear storytelling. I just hope the explanation to all of this (basically - WTF is the island?) doesn't end up being lame.

Meanwhile - I'm having fun with it.
