Thread: Anyone free this weekend for brake pad replacement?

  1. #1

Default Anyone free this weekend for brake pad replacement?

It's been a while since I've been here, but getting out of debt has been the big priority at the moment.

Anyone free this weekend to help with brake pad replacement? Never done replacement in any cars I have owned... I want to learn and my pads are about gone. I don't have much money, but I could chip in for food and drink for the time to help me learn and replace the pads.

If anyone can help out, it would be great! Thanks in advance for anyone that replies.

Just an FYI you might want to take your phone number out. It is a public forum. Send it via PM if necessary.

Unless it is against the rules I don't have any concerns with everyone knowing my cell phone number.

If it against the forum rules I'll remove it.

Moderators, let me know what the legalities are.

    Thanks

Not against the rules or illegal. If you're happy, we're happy.

Is this your first time to visit the internet?

It's just that you may start recieving solicitors calling your cell phone should they find it on the internet through a search spyder.

By the way, I have just finished replacing Kakkyo's brake pads.

The front pads were at the squeeler tips and the rear pads were about 50%. I had to refer to the pointy board for the rears as I am used to spinning the puck on most of the previous rear disk brakes that I have worked on. These were even easier, once I figured out what bolt to remove.

All is well, I didn't think that the board would explode in replies today.

Many thanks for Radio-Active and helping me out!
