Thread: Check out da wheel...

    Default Check out da wheel...

As you might have guessed from my "airbag wheel for sale" post, I got my MOMO wheel installed... ain't it purty?

...and the Dakei hub kit was tha bomb... I think the install took me all of 30 minutes. I spent more time hunting down my electrical tape.

Looks great, that's also one of the cleanest looking NA interiors I've seen in a while. So can I give you a call when I pick up a momo and need to put it in mine :)

...as long as you get the right hub kit!

Believe me, I thought it was worth it in the grand scheme...

Looks good Rick! Get a wood brake handle with a brushed button. That would tie it all together.

Tan e-brake and shift boots would also look good.
    ...and across the line.

Thanks! (...and thanks for the tip on the hub kit!)

Funny you should mention that... Ted the Red found a wood e-brake handle at the junkyard the other day and gave it to me. I'm gonna monkey with it and see how it looks with the wheel - I'll need to do a little work on the handle first.

If it has a bad finish, sand it and find a stain that closely matches your wheel.

Might look better with more wood in there though. Tim, where are you?

Nice!! Good Improvement. Once you match the e-brake handle it will look just right.

Also, your Alpine stereo looks great! Glad you went with the best.

I didn't do very well in junior high shop. As a matter of fact, I still have an incomplete in the course because we never did find the teachers finger.

I was there when the shop teachers red-headed step son cut his thumb off. Damn that was a lot of blood. I bet he cleared 10 feet with that spray.

My friend cut a dado in the palm of his hand with a table saw. Messy, very very messy.

My buddy damn near cut his finger off with a compound miter saw... it had a composite cutting wheel on it, so he had all sorts of little bits stuck in his flesh!

Dad was telling me about his shop teacher's arm bouncing off of the ceiling. Guess they all got A's in the class.
