I found this in another forum....
Last Saturday there was a group of about 30 guys/girls out at the park. Whenever I see large groups I always think one thing: they're drinking, and drunk people like to share. So, I headed over to the park and proceed to witness something life changing.
They are playing kickball.
No, not just any kickball. But kickball with beer. Let me clarify, lots of beer. At this point I was unclear of the rules, but it appeared that everyone had to have a full cup of beer at all times and could only play with one hand. Did I mention the slip and slide? Yeah. Slip and slide. You round third and head for home you have to go down the slip and slide to touch home. Now imagine that while holding a cup of beer.
There was a huge cooler at second base, and I figured it was just for filling up beers. Well yesterday I finally talked to one of my buddies that was playing in said game. He informed me that this game is called "Sloshball". Rules are as follows:
- Normal kickball rules apply for the most part.
- EVERY participant must bring a case of beer..but I'm thinking it'd be cheaper to have a bunch of kegs.
- All defenders must have a beer at all times.
- Any dispute results in a chug off. Winner of the chug wins the dispute.
- On offense, everyone must stop at second base and chug half a beer. You can also stack players up at second, but no one can go until the person in front of you has drank half the cup. If your cup isn't full, well, that's what the giant cooler at second base is for. Essentially you can have 10 players sitting at second (safe, of course).
- Slide into home on the slip and slide, unless you're a huge vagina and don't want to get beer all over you.
Well, I'm ready to play. I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard while watching a sport. Chicks were getting absolutely drilled, guys were running full speed into each other. I mean it was a mess, and the level of greatness was astounding. Shit, even the mailman stopped by and played and drank for a bit.
Blah blah blah!

I assume "shirts and skins" will be used?
Do I need to see if the Club will sponsor a team?
