well we ran 5 20 min sections and there where only 6 cars. and the first lap of the first setions was my fastest... thats how shity my rubber was. got a set of burn out tires =)

i ran a 1.42.2 and after learning all the turn way only running 1.43-1.44 the rest of the day once it got hot. tires are nothing but rubber buggers.
well.... get some tires for May 26, and get into the 1.3xxx's!! :)

I ran low 1:42's consistently, 1:43's with a passenger, and you were alone after my clutch broke...lol. The G and Camaro were green drivers. You and I were the only ones turning decent times...which is fine with me considering every other person on this board would destroy us out there.
but I did have fun.
It was a good 2.5 sessions for me this trip. I learned to do maintenance /part throttle better, worked on the concept of "squeezing" the brake, rather than punching it, I finally hit the 4-5-6, then the 7-8-9 complexes right...man that's fun through there. I love how every time I get out there, I realize how little I know about driving a car.
Now I just have to put the trans in my vw, then yank the trans in my miata.![]()
