    Question Myrtle Beach, SC

Anyone ever been on vacation? Any recommendations on where to stay and things to do (besides golf)? TIA!

    Go golfing!

Sorry, don't know Myrtle Beach very well, but I did live in Charleston and loved it. I guess that doesn't help you though.

    Anywhere else?

It's changed a lot since I was in the area. We preferred things a bit further north, but the Emerald Isle was dramatically reshaped by hurricanes. Topsail used to be nice, but it's gotten very busy from what I hear. So I suppose Myrtle is as good as anything else.

    Does Jill know?

My only knowledge of the area came from a friend who used to go there camping. He said never leave your expensive bicycle chained to the bumper of the camper. He lost 2 top dollar bikes and they left the kid's KMart specials. He also said there were lots of neat things to do with the kids.

Unless this is already planned, I vote for a bed and breakfast in historic downtown Charleston instead.

I've got some suggestions for restaurants and stuff also.

Apparently hiking was one of them...
