    That's right up there with the post a service technician made about taking a Mustang GT owner's car out for a 100+ MPH test drive and then got busted by the car's owner.

    I know several mechanics that would have done exactly what he told them to do. Swap out the clutch and returned it. Would have loved to see the owners reaction to that when the car was still having issues after paying for a new clutch.

    Never tell a mechanic what the problem is unless you are 150% certain.

    Yeah, I thought I just needed my new springs installed until the Elite DFW Miata Mechanics Club started poking around
