Well.. what to say... Thanks to a little encouragement, I went out and bought a '04 Miata LS (Silver). Absolutely love it so far. Can't wait to meet everyone.

Dave, welcome to the madness that is Miata ownership!
Keep an eye on the "Events & Drives" and "Autocross Events" sections of the forum - we're almost always out and about somewhere with our cars. Even if you don't think autocrossing is for you, I'd encourage you to come on out to an event, and you can at least ride along with some of us and see how these cars were really meant to be used.
