As soon as I saw the tilte on the page, I thought Holden V8 cuz it's cheaper than a Nissan straight 6. Guess I was right, but honsetly I think it was only a matter of time before some one crammed a V8 into a Skyline. Those crazy Auzzies...

Bravo for cramming a ridiculous amount of power into a Skyline, but it's just not as impressive as drifting the strait 6 imo. Kinda like those Vipers at Formula D.. I'd rather watch the Corollas.

Well put, I'm with you on that. No finesse in drifting that car.

When i went to Formula D back in '05, Samuel Hubinette would full throttle to the turn, pitch the car and just slide. There was no throttle input until he either started to lose the slide or was changing direction. No disrespect to him, though.
In comparison, Ryan Hampton's approach was more in line with his extensive road racing career. Hampton would use smooth and consistent throttle inputs to initiate and continue a slide, which IMO, takes more precision and control.
