I scrape on paved roads. No way I can take my car off road! I'd love to participate in another car though.

The 5th event in the SCCA Regional RoadRally Series will be held Saturday, July 7th, beginning at 10am. No prior rally experience is required. The Start and Finish will be at Turner Park in Grand Prairie, near the intersection of I-30 and Belt Line Road.
The event will be a typical gimmick rally, with various scoring opportunities to be found along the mostly-country-road route.
Put your top down and join us for a fun drive in scenic areas south of Grand Prairie. Please see the flyer at www.texasscca.org/MCC7flyerv10.pdf for registration information and other details.

We had a team formed by three Lotus cars in SCCA rally #2, and had four Minis in rally #4. Where are all the Miatas?
sccarally
is it off road or on old back roads?
Off road?? What are you reading??
A RoadRally is a contest run in street-legal cars on city or country roads, at legal speeds. It's a pleasant drive in the country with some competition involved, All you need is a car, a second person (the “navigator”), proof of insurance and license, a clipboard and a pencil. No special car preparation needed. If you’re streetlegal, you’re driving a potential rally car. A good rallyist in a clunker will always beat a lousy rallyist in a Ferrari. You don’t need to be an SCCA member to run, but points count towards a year-long championship for SCCA members.
Yeah... what he said.
team snatch and grab is all sighed up
PSH, you haven't driven until you've driven your miata off road
Blah blah blah!
The rally is all on road, but I haven't seen the course myself, so I can't say there aren't a couple of rough spots. The event was checked by a 1964 Mini and a Miata, and neither of them complained about a rough course. The Mini driver said: "WOW ... the pre-run was fantastic!!! (especially the VERY HILLY part ... gotta love those apexes) :~) YeeeeeHawwwww".
